Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced OR / Circulating Registered Nurse for a per diem assignment in Westminster, CO. This role supports adult orthopedic surgical cases in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable circulating independently.
Key Responsibilities
Circulate for orthopedic surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficient case flow
Prepare and maintain the operating room, including equipment, instruments, and sterile supplies
Verify patient identity, consents, and preoperative documentation
Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to surgical safety protocols
Document intraoperative care accurately and timely
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff
Support room turnover and readiness for scheduled cases
Requirements
Active Colorado RN License
BLS Certification
OR / Circulating RN Skills Assessment
Background Check
Colorado Adult Protective Services Clearance
Valid Driver’s License
Current Tuberculosis Screening
