About Womens MarchWomens March builds political power to dismantle systems of oppression through organizing, advocacy, and empowering everyday people to lead from where they are. We are a feminist, multiracial, grassroots movement led by those most directly impacted by injustice.Position OverviewThe Network Organizer is responsible for strengthening and expanding our national grassroots network. This role builds out the infrastructure, training, and relationships that enable local organizers to lead effective campaigns, mutual aid efforts, and protection initiatives in alignment with Womens March values.You will work closely with both national staff and on-the-ground leaders to support distributed organizing campaigns, develop accessible political education tools, and foster meaningful engagement across diverse communities. This is a hands-on position ideal for a seasoned movement-builder who thrives on coaching others, designing scalable strategies, and creating space for feminist organizing across geographies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and implement organizing strategies that build base power, including efforts like Womens Protection Teams and Feminist Mutual Aid.Develop and manage distributed campaigns, including onboarding flows, toolkits, and mobilization tactics that equip organizers to act independently and in coordination.Support and connect a national base of grassroots organizers through relational outreach, regular check-ins, and digital infrastructure (e.g. Slack, Mobilize).Design and facilitate training programs, including webinars, cohort calls, playbooks, and leadership development materials.Track organizer engagement and network health, collecting data and feedback to improve tools, systems, and retention.Collaborate across departments (digital, communications, political, operations) to ensure field strategy aligns with broader organizational goals.Represent Womens March in coalitions and cross-movement spaces, centering our values and building trust with allied organizations.Ideal Qualifications5+ years of experience in grassroots, electoral, or movement organizingpreferably in distributed or affiliate-based structures.Demonstrated success recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers and grassroots leaders.Skilled in curriculum design, facilitation, and political education rooted in popular education or anti-oppressive frameworks.Familiarity with organizing tools like Slack, Mobilize, EveryAction, ThruText, NGP VAN, or equivalent CRMs.Strong communication and relationship-building skills across race, class, and geography.Deep alignment with intersectional feminist values and a commitment to anti-racism, disability justice, and LGBTQ+ liberation.Bilingual (especially Spanish/English) is a plus.Willingness to travel as needed.
