It is the responsibility of the Mortgage Senior Closing Specialist to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. Functions include creating and generating the Closing Disclosure, mortgage closing documents and reviewing of documents for loan funding and ensuring that loans meet all requirements and regulations. Maintains compliance with SouthState Bank Corporate Code of Conduct and Ethics, all anti-money laundering guidelines, regulatory requirements, and all other applicable procedures.

This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer with multiple monitors; must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to efficiently access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.
Must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered. Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
Travel may be required to attend meetings or other Bank-sponsored events upon request by Leadership.
In accordance with Colorado law: Colorado pay for this position is anticipated to be between $48,647.00 - $77,710.00 , actual offers to be determined based on applicant's skills, experience and education.
