Job Description:
Our confidential client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support and maintain manufacturing equipment. This role involves ensuring machines operate safely, efficiently, and according to standard procedures. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot equipment, coordinate preventive maintenance, manage spare parts, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain advanced production equipment, including computer-controlled or PLC-based systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure machine settings match operational standards and update operation manuals as needed.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for routine maintenance and repairs.
Maintain equipment inventory and ensure spare parts are available.
Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, safety, and energy usage.
Document and report machine issues and performance metrics regularly.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and equipment management software.
Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 2+ years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and process improvement initiatives is preferred.
Compensation: $45,000 – $55,000 annually + comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
