Position Overview:
As a Pilates Instructor at Club Pilates, you will be responsible for teaching dynamic, engaging, and safe Pilates classes to individuals and small groups. You will lead classes designed to enhance the strength, flexibility, and overall well-being of our clients. Our instructors are expected to provide a motivating environment while offering excellent customer service and fostering a sense of community.
Responsibilities:
Lead group Pilates classes on the Reformer and other apparatus.
Demonstrate proper form and technique during exercises.
Modify exercises to meet the needs and abilities of all participants.
Provide personalized instruction and support to help clients achieve their fitness goals.
Create a safe, welcoming, and energetic environment for clients.
Stay current with Pilates certifications and fitness trends.
Build relationships with clients, offering encouragement and support for their wellness journey.
Attend training and staff meetings as required.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED: COMPREHENSIVE Certified Pilates Instructor (e.g., through Club Pilates, PMA, BASI, or other recognized certification programs).
Previous experience teaching Pilates in a studio or group fitness environment.
Ability to teach various levels of Pilates classes (beginner to advanced).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for health and fitness with a commitment to delivering a positive experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain).
