JobsRUs.com formerly CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We are currently hiring for a Leasing Specialist in Rochester, NY.

Monday to Friday
8:30am to 5:00pm, 40 hours
$18.50 - $21.00/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities will include providing organizational overflow support for this fast-paced management office and providing excellent customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and co-workers. Other duties will include, but not be limited to, answering phones, greeting incoming visitors, processing incoming/outgoing mail, preparing office correspondence and completion of forms, maintaining files, and ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies. Meet all deadlines on time as required under the various compliance regulations. Support Compliance and Leasing team members as needed. Complete compliance reports as requested and required.

Office Assistant Job Duties:
- Minimum 1 to 3 years prior leasing experience required.
- Prior experience with Low-Income Tax Credit, HUD Section 8 & other HUD programs.
- Knowledge of affordable housing industry compliance software program(s) required for processing state, federal applications.
- Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills to meet required deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills to assist internal and external customers.
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); accurate data entry and proofreading skills.
- Prior Yardi Voyager experience with affordable housing modules preferred; OR other housing compliance software skills with willingness to quickly learn Yardi.
- Basic Accounting skills with understanding of receivables, payables, and the ability to assess incomes in relation to compliance regulations.
