We are seeking a highly motivated HVAC Sales & Estimator r for our dynamic Single Family Division in Riverside! As part of our team, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401k, Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.

General Responsibility:

The Sales & Estimating primary duties include maintaining current accounts as well as cultivating new accounts. Estimating and preparing bids. The Sales & Estimating position is also responsible for the management of their projects and should maintain a high level of communication between the client and our field operations department to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Significant Duties:

• Identify and analyze external opportunities and threats to the organization within a specific territory.
• Provide timely feedback regarding progress, market conditions, and competitors to the General Manager and other members of the Sales Team.
• Effectively manage client relationships to ensure ongoing business opportunities.
• Track sales performance to ensure established goals and quotas are met.
• Analyzes specifications and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Submit proposals and successfully bid on jobs to assure sales goals are met within margin and resource requirements.
• Maintain organized files and documentation of all sales and job activity.
• Project manage as needed.
• Processing contract extras in Excel and accounting software.
• Price contract extras on demand for various items in scope of work.
• Believes in and champions 20/20’s core values and inspires others to do the same.
• Other duties or projects, as required or assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Sales Experience in the construction industry preferred; HVAC Sales Experience a Plus.
• 5+ years’ experience in sales, estimating, project management
• Multifaceted experience in the HVAC/Mechanical field including HVAC sales market.
• Ability to read mechanical plans required.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel, and intermediate general PC skills are required.
• Ability to be flexible, decisive, and work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate several major activities at once, while analyzing and resolving specific problems.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with many different people inside and outside of the company.

Physical Requirements:

The position of HVAC Sales & Estimating requires that you are able to lift objects that weigh up to 25 pounds, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and work above head and below waist. Ability to sit for long periods, stand, walk, climb stairs and use of hands, fingers, wrist and arms. Occasionally driving to jobsites will be necessary, ability to work on uneven unclean terrain for several hours.
