Richardson ISD - Executive Director - Grants and Entitlements Job Title: Executive Director - Grants and Entitlements School: Central Administration Campus Description: Date Posted: 8/7/2025 Deadline: Until Filled Openings: 1 Commitment: Full Time Description/Notes: ● Responsibility includes Federal Title Programs, IMA, Special Education, MAC/SHARS, Technology, TEA Entitlement and competitive and local grants

Manage District Planning Committee, District Improvement Plan and Campus Improvement Plan process
Manage District needs assessment
Manage District TEA waiver process including submission of waivers to TEA
Prepare and submit applications for federal, state and competitive grants
Prepare and submit annual evaluation, interim reports and documentation required
Manage financial and program information for all entitlements on a continual basis
Monitor compliance with financial regulations
Continually communicate with various levels of the district stakeholders on grant information
Work closely with the Finance Department
Supervise and evaluate direct reports

Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s Degree required

Advanced degree, valid Texas Teacher Certification, or Mid-Management Certification
Minimum five years central office or campus supervisory skills preferred
Previous successful grant writing experience preferred
Experience in the evaluation, leadership and implementation of district instructional programs
Experience maintaining budgets and documentation for federal funds

Special Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of federal, state and local grant requirements
Effective and efficient operation of all State and Federal Programs
Knowledge of district needs for effective use of funds and be able to ensure efficiency
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask projects
Excellent communication skills, writing ability, and interpersonal skills
Ability to foster strong working relationship with all levels of RISD personnel
