Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure GAAP compliance
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis
- Partner with leadership on ROI evaluations, pricing, costing, and capital investment analysis
- Coordinate with lenders and board on financial reporting, cash flow projections, and compliance
- Maintain and audit internal controls across all financial functions
- Lead external audits and ensure timely completion of tax filings and regulatory reporting
- Oversee sales tax processing and compliance
- Drive ERP and financial system improvements and implement process enhancements
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics and profitability analysis
- Support growth initiatives and business expansion projects
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and performance feedback
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or public accounting experience preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role (Controller or Accounting Manager)
- Background in manufacturing or lean environment strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial systems
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial/operational applications
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on approach with ability to partner with operations and production teams
