We are seeking a dedicated and experienced  General Operations Manager to join our family-owned convenience store team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our high volume convenience stores and food services, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Your main responsibilities will include managing and motivating a team of employees, ensuring they are well-trained and providing excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ordering products, and ensuring the store is clean and well-stocked at all times. Additionally, you will handle cash management, including reconciling registers and preparing deposits.

As a General Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our store. You will have the autonomy to implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the convenience stores
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
  • Train and supervise store staff
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of employees
  • Create and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers
  • Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience in retail or convenience store management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes
  • Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Familiarity with safety and security procedures
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
