Job Title: Applications Development Lead
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Summary:
Applications Development Lead with strong experience managing IT development teams and delivering enterprise applications. Responsible for overseeing coding standards, application design, team performance, and full project lifecycle execution while ensuring quality, maintainability, and alignment with business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and mentor IT consultants and staff
Monitor team performance, coding standards, and deliverable quality
Develop and enforce best practices for maintainable and supportable applications
Collaborate with architects to ensure proper software design implementation
Evaluate and recommend software solutions to improve enterprise applications
Partner with project managers throughout the full project lifecycle
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide resolution efforts
Interview, hire, and onboard qualified team members
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly status and performance reports
Monitor staff schedules, performance, and training needs
Stay current with internal processes and external client requirements
