A postdoctoral position is available starting February 1, 2026, in the Physics Department at Central Michigan University. We are seeking an enthusiastic scientist to work in the field of structural characterization of quantum materials using x-ray scattering techniques and structure modeling.

About the Department: The CMU Physics Department offers B.S., B.S. in Ed., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in physics and participates in the interdisciplinary Ph.D. in the Science of Advanced Materials. The department houses active research programs in several areas, including computational condensed matter and chemical physics and experimental condensed matter and materials physics.
