Ignik Outdoors is on the hunt for a dynamic and dependable Warehouse Operations Lead to take charge of our daily warehouse operations. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something new, as we establish and expand our operations at a new warehouse location. As our first warehouse team member in Wyoming, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our operations, with plenty of room for growth as we expand. Position Snapshot:

  • Reports to: Director of Operations
  • Works closely with: Sales Operations Manager & Sales Support
  • Supervises: Future warehouse staff
  • Time commitment: full time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (or similar hours)
  • Location: Laramie, WY
  • Start date: June 15, 2025
  • Compensation: $25-30 per hour
  • FLSA Status: Hourly, non-exempt

Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure that all products are stocked in their appropriate locations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory management and reconciliation.
  • Communicate with team members to track inventory, order status, shipping schedules, and exceptions.
  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Track, report, and work to improve warehouse KPI’s.
  • Effectively complete daily work independently (this position is in Wyoming, with no immediate in-person support from the Washington team).
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement, develop solutions, and collaborate with the team to implement improved processes.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other equipment that involves the use of arms, wrists, and hands.

  • Is tech-savvy; proficient in using warehouse management software and digital communications platforms.

  • Loves to be outdoors.

  • Follows through and follows up.
  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent.
