MAC Animal Hospital is seeking an
outgoing Veterinary Receptionist to become the next member of our incredible team! As the face of the hospital, our receptionists greet every client with warmth, compassion, and professionalism-helping to build trust with our veterinary team and create a welcoming experience for pets and their people.
In this role, you will: - Schedule and manage the flow of appointments to support an efficient, well-organized day
- Provide exceptional, empathetic customer service while multitasking between a multi-line phone system and in-person clients
- Process payments and financial transactions accurately
- Answer client questions and provide clear, helpful information about our services
- Support the medical team by helping balance scheduled appointments, walk-ins, and urgent cases
- This position is ideal for candidates with experience in fast-paced customer service who are friendly and outgoing, detail-oriented, confident multitaskers, and excited to contribute to a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Position Details: This is a
flexible full-time or part-time position , with either a
5/8 or 4/10 schedule .
Availability is needed
Monday-Friday , with
2 Saturdays per month required . Outside of Saturdays, scheduling is flexible and generally consists of
3 full days and 2 half days per week .

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set: - 1+ year of client service or customer-facing experience
- Previous veterinary experience is highly preferred
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Answering incoming phone calls, emails, and texts
- Scheduling appointments efficiently and accurately
- Processing invoices, payments, and financial transactions
- Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborating with the clinical team to balance scheduled visits, walk-ins, and urgent cases
