Job Description

Job Title: Advanced GPR tech and/or Advanced Underground Utility Locator.

Location: Variable. Must reside in King, Pierce, Thurston or Mason County.

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Field Supervisor/Operations Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Utility Locator , someone who thrives working independently, demonstrates problem-solving abilities, and takes pride in delivering quality, precise work . Key Responsibilities

· Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and accountability , fostering a positive and respectful work environment.

· Proactively identify and resolve jobsite challenges, showing strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.

· Support the company’s mission by reinforcing a culture of ownership, community investment, and continuous improvement .

  • Accurately locate, mark, and map underground utilities using industry-standard locating equipment.
  • Follow strict safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the community.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and team members to ensure clarity and excellent service.
  • Investigate and resolve locate challenges in the field using creative problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all field activities.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying our companies’ values and reflecting our commitment to community investment and customer care .
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • A committed individual with a strong work ethic and desire to grow within a company.
  • A self-starter who works well independently but also values team collaboration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills .
  • 2+ years of Advanced GPR tech and/or Advanced Underground Utility experience is required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Availability to work overtime, weekends, on call as needed for business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$32.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 36 – 50 per week
