Travel Pharmacist Infusion / Oncology | Central Coast, CA
Start as Soon as Next Week | 4-Week or 13-Week Assignment | MF Day Shifts
An integrated health system on Californias Central Coast is urgently seeking a Travel Pharmacist to support its outpatient infusion centers . This role will involve regular chemo admixture , with occasional travel between two sites: San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria (approximately 20 miles apart).
Position Highlights:Location: Central Coast, CA (San Luis Obispo & Santa Maria)
Setting: Infusion Center Part of an integrated health system
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
Start Date: ASAP as early as next week
Assignment Options: Short-term 4-week OR full 13+ week contract
Prepare and verify sterile pounded chemotherapy and supportive medications
Collaborate with providers, nurses, and staff to ensure safe, timely patient care
Follow all USP <797> and <800> standards
Travel between sites as needed based on patient volume
Active California Pharmacist License
PGY1-trained OR 1+ years of inpatient or infusion experience
Proven experience with chemo admixture / oncology pharmacy
fortable working full-time in a fast-paced clinical environment
Fully available for the assignment duration
