Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a CA license for a Med/Surg Oncology charge nurse position requiring oncology and charge experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an inpatient oncology/hematology unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population consists primarily of adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with blood disorders and cancers
• Responsibilities include administration of chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and CAR T-cell therapies
• Day shift position with 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 to 19:00)
• Weekend rotation and floating to other units are required
• EPIC EMR experience is required
• Charge RN duties include leading daily operations, mentoring staff, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring multidisciplinary collaboration
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Caribbean blue scrubs required and not provided by the unit
• First-time travelers are accepted if all experience requirements are met

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient oncology experience (hematology preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of charge nurse experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, CHEMO
• Experience administering chemotherapy is required
• Prior EPIC EMR experience required
