Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in a community hospital requiring a current MA RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a general medical/surgical/telemetry unit within a community hospital setting
• Patient population includes cardiac, post-surgical, respiratory, withdrawal, GI, and infectious disease cases
• Unit size is 43 beds with expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 5 to 6:1
• Cases include chest pain rule out, various postop patients, pneumonia, CHF, withdrawal, cellulitis, COVID, flu, and more
• 12-hour night shifts
• No on-call responsibility
• Uses Cerner CIS charting system
• Join a team-oriented, patient-centered staff
• Responsibilities include monitoring telemetry, managing diverse medical/surgical conditions, and post-op care
• No on-call required for this role

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner CIS EMR preferred
