Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a weekend night shift role in New York.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an imaging department performing X-ray and CT scans with contrast injection
• Weekend night shifts, Saturday through Monday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient care includes starting IVs and administering contrast agents
• Uses Philips, Fuji Synapse PACS system, and Paragon (Citrix Product) equipment
• COVID-19 vaccine is not required; proof of vaccination or declination must be provided
• Flu vaccine or declination is required by October 31; those declining must wear a mask
• Weekend shift coverage required for assignment

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 2 years CT/X-ray technologist experience required
• Current NYS license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required if applicable
• Current ARRT(CT) certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (CT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must be able to start IVs and inject contrast agents
• 2 continuing education hours (CEUs) on a stroke-related topic required prior to start
