AVANTech, LLC solves some of the most challenging problems in the water industry - from being first responders to the Fukushima Nuclear Plant meltdown to implementing patented first of its kind technology. Our projects include industrial water recycling at government sites. Who You Are:

The successful Tool Room Attendant will be responsible and accountable for the maintenance and inventory control of supplies within the tool room. The tool room attendant will continually communicate with various groups within AVANTech.

• Keeps a list of tools and equipment available for distribution
• Maintain records of which products are signed out and to whom, and then signs products back in when they are returned
• Order stock of materials, tools, and equipment
• Ordering and replenishing consumables for shop
• Tool room attendant must also understand how to use equipment to explain the process to new employees
• Attendant must repair handheld tools, make air lines, which requires hand strength for crimping hose lines
• Other duties as assigned such as operate drill press and compound miter saw

Requirements:

• Lifting up to 50lbs, bending, climbing ladders and stairs, sitting for extended periods, standing for extended periods and walking the shop
• Excel experience required

This is an hourly, non-exempt position. All candidates must be able to pass drug test, pre-employment physical and background investigation. A high level of safe working practices is vital.
