ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Writer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review documents for consistency and conformity to Program standards.
Work with technical experts and subject matter experts to draft program plans.
Use Microsoft Office tools including Word and PowerPoint.
Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Manage contract deliverables against deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional technical writing in lieu of degree
5+ years of technical writing experience
Experience with desktop publishing tools.
Ability to use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of basic concepts and write technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with developing deliverable templates
Knowledge of different SDLC methodologies
Knowledge of Cloud and Cyber Security concepts
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
