Job Description

Seeking an experienced computer systems engineering professional to join our team at the Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC). Some knowledge of military weapon systems simulations is a plus. Must have an understanding of software development languages and technologies (C++, Python, Linux, etc.). **Responsibilities** + Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software applications. + Monitor system performance and ensure reliability, availability, and security. + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. + Participate in planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and backups. + Manage system access, user accounts, and permissions in compliance with security policies. + Automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python). + Support virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, Azure). + Collaborate with developers, network engineers, and security teams to support infrastructure needs. + Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and change management records. + Ensure disaster recovery plans and failover procedures are tested and functional. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). + 3+ years of experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, or systems engineering. + TS security clearance with SCI eligibility. **Job ID** 2025-19671 **Work Type** On-Site **Company Description** **Work Where it Matters** RiverTech, an Akima company, is not just another federal professional solutions contractor.
