Flying Bark Productions is working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Stranger Things animated series, and Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan. The Studio Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the LA studio’s physical environment, focusing on building services, office infrastructure, technical equipment, maintenance, vendor relationships, health & safety, and creating a productive workplace for employees. The role ensures the studio remains functional, safe, and welcoming. This position is based in Los Angeles, supporting approximately 100–150 employees across production, creative, and support teams. Responsibilities include overseeing onsite facilities services, managing vendor relationships, and working closely with global operations and local leadership to align the studio environment with organizational standards. Responsibilities include: Overseeing facility operations, maintenance, security, and repairs. Managing building systems and coordinating renovations or relocations. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting risk assessments. Managing vendor contracts and onsite contractor work. Supporting operational needs such as supplies, utilities, parking, and space planning. Collaborating with People & Culture to support employee wellbeing and engagement. Qualifications: 3+ years in facilities or operations management, preferably in a creative environment. Experience with vendor relationships, projects, and building operations. Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and environmental practices. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proactive communication and a solutions-focused approach.
