We are looking to hire a Sterile Processing Technician to join our St. Louis, MO team.
Description
We’re currently seeking skilled individuals to join our team. This role includes:
Maintaining supply orders to ensure smooth operations. Attending meetings as required.
keeps an accurate log of testing.
Cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing dental instruments to keep them ready for use and uphold the highest standards of care.
1. Maintains familiarity with and follows OSHA standards.
2. Ensures instruments are sterilized as soon as feasible when received into central sterilization.
3. Maintains the cleanliness and order of all areas of sterilization.
4. Keeps accurate logs of spore testing.
5. Uses the system to monitor and track instruments through sterilization.
6. Keeps the Lead Sterilization Tech apprised of any issues or concerns with equipment, supplies or procedures related to sterilization.
7. Meets the needs and special requests of the providers about instruments and handpieces.
8. Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a team to facilitate the Dental Center's ability to meet goals and objectives
Skills & Qualifications
Sterile processing experience
Keeping instruments sorted and stored correctly
Maintaining accurate records of sterilization cycles and inventory
Prioritizing tasks to meet surgical or procedural schedules
Managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
Understanding of infection control protocols
Familiarity with medical and dental instruments

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
