Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position: Middle School Special Education Teacher
Location : Hadley, MA
Contract Duration : Full-time for the 20252026 school year (August 21, 2025 June 11, 2026)
Hours : 7:30 AM 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Contracted Through : ProCare Therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Instructional Support : Provide specialized instruction tailored to the needs of middle school students with disabilities, ensuring alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaboration : Work closely with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Progress Monitoring : Regularly assess and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to meet educational goals.
• Family Engagement : Communicate effectively with families and caregivers to promote positive outcomes for students.

Qualifications:

• Licensure : Active Special Education license in Massachusetts (DESE certification required).
• Experience : Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships.
• Commitment : Dedication to student-centered instruction and inclusive education practices.
