The Role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our clients' organic presence.

This is a role for a strategic creative. You won’t just be posting content; you will be building the visual identity for some of the most successful medical practices in the region. You will visit client locations, capture high-quality content, and build out robust content calendars a month in advance to ensure our clients stay top-of-mind.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Content Gathering (Field Work): Traveling to client offices (throughout NJ) to capture photos and video. You must feel 100% confident directing surgeons, doctors, and staff on what to say and do to get the perfect shot. In instances where we have clients outside of NJ, you will need to coach the client to provide us with content.
• Strategic Planning: creating and managing monthly content calendars. You will plan the narrative in advance, ensuring clients review and approve content before the month begins.
• Production & Editing: Taking raw footage and turning it into polished Reels, Shorts, and posts using CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools.
• Copywriting & Curation: Writing engaging, error-free captions that strike the right balance between medical professionalism and social media engagement.
• Efficiency Engineering: Managing a high volume of accounts independently. You should be leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, etc.) to speed up your copywriting and ideation workflows.
• Paid Social Support: Assisting with boosting posts or running ad campaigns (or learning how to do so under our guidance).

 

Who You Are

• A New Jersey Local: You live in NJ, have a reliable car, and are willing to drive to client sites. (Ideally, you’re open to working from our Hoboken office a few days a week for collaboration, though we are flexible).
• Confident & Personable: You aren’t intimidated by white coats. You can get a busy surgeon to pause their day and film content because they trust your vision.
• Organized & Proactive: You don’t scramble at the last minute. You work ahead, plan your shoots, and keep the content calendar full.
• Detail Obsessed: You know that a typo in a medical post is a disaster. You double-check doctor names and medical terms religiously.
• A Visual Storyteller: You have a portfolio that proves you can make business content look professional, modern, and engaging.

 

Requirements

• Portfolio Required: Proven experience managing business accounts (not just your personal page). Show us how you grew a brand.
• Platform Mastery: Expert knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts. (TikTok experience is a plus).
• Design Skills: Proficiency in Canva and video editing apps (CapCut/InShot/Premiere).
• Ad Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with Meta Business Suite / Ads Manager is preferred, but a willingness to learn is required.
