Location: 100% Remote

Work schedule: (Normal business hours Monday-Friday 9 to 6)

Pay Rate: $100 to $110 per hour

Job Description / Justification:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee and manage our technical projects and programs under the umbrella of MyCity services. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex technical initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale technical projects.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and other stakeholders, to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers that may impact project success, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Drive effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership, providing regular project updates and status reports.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices, processes, and tools to optimize program management and project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 12+ years of proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role, managing and delivering complex technical projects.
• Strong technical background and understanding of software development methodologies and practices.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate through technical challenges and find effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
• Experience with program management tools and software, and proficiency in project management techniques and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving projects to successful completion.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working in large and complex ecosystem
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Azure, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
• Experience working with NYC Government Agencies
