Position Summary

As the Senior Director of Advertising Sales Food, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for driving strategic partnerships and revenue growth across Walmarts Food vertical. You will:

• Own the sales strategy and execution for key Food advertisers, ensuring alignment with Walmart Connects broader goals.
• Lead and develop a team of sales leaders, account managers, and campaign strategists to scale advertiser success.
• Build deep relationships with Csuite stakeholders at major food brands, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
• Drive innovation by identifying new advertising opportunities and collaborating with crossfunctional teams (Product, Marketing, Analytics).
• Leverage data and insights to inform campaign strategies and demonstrate ROI to clients.
• Represent Walmart Connect at industry events and key markets such as NYC, Chicago, and San Francisco.

Core Qualifications

• A seasoned sales executive with experience in digital advertising, preferably in Food.
• Proven track record of leading and scaling sales teams, with a history as a second or third line people manager.
• Deep understanding of programmatic, search, display, video, and integrated sponsorships.
• Strong consultative selling skills and experience working with Clevel executives.
• Comfortable navigating matrixed organizations and collaborating across departments.
• Passionate about datadriven marketing and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Experience in retail media networks or working with large retailers.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, ambiguous environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, finance, marketing and sales, advertising, or related area and 6 years experience in business development, market development, or related area.
• Option 2: 8 years experience in business development, market development, or related area.
• 2 years supervisory experience.

Salary and Compensation

Base pay range: $156,000.00/yr $312,000.00/yr. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include stock.
