Senior Designer – Duties and Responsibilities
As a Senior Designer, you will play a key role in the successful execution of façade design
projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Project Leadership and Design Responsibilities:
Independently develop detailed shop drawings from design drawings.
Prepare fabrication drawings, material take-offs, and material order schedules.
Lead small projects or manage specific areas within larger projects with minimal
supervision.
Support the Project Design Team Leader by executing all instructions and designrelated tasks as assigned.
In the absence of the Design Team Leader, you will assume full responsibility as the
Design Lead for your assigned project(s), including managing meetings and
communications with the client, consultant, and architect.
Technical Competence:
Possess deep expertise in façade design, including system detailing, fabrication
processes, and installation methods.
Read and interpret architectural and structural IFC drawings, BOQs, project
specifications, and structural calculations related to façade systems.
Ensure design solutions comply with project specifications and statutory regulations.
Team Collaboration and Supervision:
Review and check work prepared by junior designers to ensure accuracy and quality.
Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting their technical development.
In emergency situations or on small-scale projects, manage the full design process
with the support of one or two assistants.
Communication and Client Interaction:
Attend and represent the design department in meetings with clients, consultants, and
architects, especially in the absence of the Team Leader.
Communicate clearly and professionally in English and the national/local language,
as required.

Maintain strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Coordinate effectively across teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Work Ethics and Commitment
You are expected to attend the office regularly and punctually, maintaining
presence on at least 99% of working days.
Overtime work may be necessary during critical project stages or when instructed by
the Team Leader or Head of Design.
In the event of project delays or missed timelines, you are required to voluntarily
extend working hours to meet delivery expectations and client commitments.
Your dedication, proactive mindset, and work ethic should set a positive example
for junior team members, encouraging a culture of discipline and ownership.
