Clementine Paper creates fresh, fun, and fashionable eco-friendly notebooks, partyware, gift bags/wrap, greeting cards, candles, soap, and other products for mass retailers such as Target, TJ Maxx, and Home Goods. We are looking to add to our talented team.
We are seeking a senior designer with experience designing and developing consumer products . We are looking for a seasoned, highly motivated, and hands-on designer that will be able to take ownership of a given project, driving all aspects of the design process, from trend research, to concepting and design/layout of products, through to final production and product approvals.
The ideal candidate will have a versatile skill set with experience in graphic design and layout, and an understanding of product development for retail. A great eye for color and trend, proficiency in Adobe CS, and experience with print production are must have attributes. Surface design, product development, graphic design/layout, and typography are also relevant skills for this position.
We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who has a passion for design and takes pride in their work.
Candidates who can work in our El Segundo office are preferred over those working remotely.

Position Responsibilities:
• Apply existing art to various product types, using Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac platform
• Recolor and rework art assets mostly in photoshop
• Prepare production-ready files for paper and gift products
• Creating pattern repeats
• Trend research and conceptualizing
• Managing digital assets
• Creating product mockups or linesheets as needed
• 10+ years of experience
• Thorough knowledge of printing processes and requirements.
• Can-do, positive attitude, ready to chip in on any project as needed.
