Yuvi Systems INC is seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of cloud-based data solutions. This role focuses on modernizing data platforms using Snowflake , with close collaboration across client and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake ELT pipelines using SQL and modern data tools (e.g., dbt, ADF, Matillion).
- Translate business requirements into scalable data models across raw, cleansed, and semantic layers .
- Ensure data quality , performance , and governance in Snowflake environments.
- Integrate Snowflake with tools like Power BI and Tableau for reporting and analytics.
- Support Power BI report migration , development, and DAX optimization.
- Implement Snowflake best practices (RBAC, masking, clustering, tuning).
- Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to DevOps/DataOps practices.
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues and mentor junior engineers.
Required Qualifications: - 5+ years in data engineering, including 3+ years hands-on Snowflake development.
- Strong expertise in SQL , ELT design , and data modeling (dimensional, Inmon, Kimball).
- Experience with Power BI , including DAX and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with Snowflake features: time travel, virtual warehouses, micro-partitioning .
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and integration tools.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
Preferred Skills: - SnowPro Core certification .
- Experience with Informatica IDMC , Fivetran , or other ETL tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD for Snowflake , Snowpark , or ML integration .
- Real-time ingestion experience with Kafka or Snowpipe Streaming .
