Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized care and companionship for our elderly mother in her home. The ideal candidate will be experienced in elder care, patient, and attentive to her daily needs while fostering a warm and nurturing environment. Responsibilities: Personal Care and Assistance * Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting). * Provide medication reminders and monitor health conditions. * Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as needed. * Ensure personal hygiene and comfort at all times. Household Duties * Light housekeeping, including laundry, dusting, and maintaining cleanliness. * Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, if necessary. * Run errands (e.g., grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions). * Assist with organizing and maintaining a tidy living environment. Companionship and Engagement * Offer emotional support and companionship through conversation and activities. * Encourage participation in hobbies, reading, light exercises, and social activities. * Provide mental stimulation and help prevent feelings of isolation. Safety and Monitoring * Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment. * Monitor and report any changes in health, mood, or behavior. * Assist with scheduling and attending medical appointments. Qualifications: * Prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or CNA preferred. * Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to elder care. * Ability to cook healthy meals and maintain a clean home. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Valid driver's license (preferred but not required). * CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). * Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Schedule and Benefits: * Live-in position with private accommodations provided. * Meals and utilities included. * Competitive salary based on experience. *. personal breaks. * Supportive and respectful family environment.
