Job Description

*Job Summary*
We are seeking an E*XPERIENCED AND SKILLED (3 + YEARS OF EXPERIENCE) Butcher/Meat Cutter *to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in butchering, knife skills and food production and handling, with a passion for delivering high-quality meat products to our customers. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

*Responsibilities*

* Break down150 lbs beef caresses with assistance of team members
* d prepare various cuts of meat according to specifications.
* Provide direction to food processing crew members.
* Maintain e cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the meat department.
* Follow all company and USDA policies regarding food handling and safety procedures.

*Requirements*

* Ability to break down 100-150 caresses with assistance.
* Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting or culinary roles is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
* Proficient in using knives and other cutting tools safely and effectively.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
