Job Description and Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper responsible for recording and maintaining business financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments. You will record financial data into general ledgers, which are used to produce balance sheets and income statements. You will also monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist managers in strategic decision making.

  • Accounts Receivable


  • Accounts Payable


  • Payroll Services


  • Expense Management


  • Cash Flow Statements


  • Financial Reporting


  • Invoicing


  • Tax Filing knowledge



Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Any preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping (minimum 2 years)


  • Payroll Experience


  • In-depth understanding of Quickbooks (online)



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field



Tools Required:



  • Home office setup


  • Computer with webcam


  • Smartphone with email capabilities and push notifications


  • High-speed Internet Access



This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role working remotely from your home office. Your hours are flexible, however, you must have availability during normal business hours to meet with your client(s) as this role does not work in conjunction with another full-time position.
