Job Description

We're partnering with an organization that is looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead complex, cross-functional projects within their Data and AI portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with a strong blend of business acumen, technical understanding, and hands-on project leadership experience. As Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing strategic initiatives across the Data & AI space. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure successful delivery-on time, within scope, and on budget. This is a dynamic role that combines product visioning, project execution, and hands-on collaboration across departments.

• Manage multiple large and complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including third-party vendors and consultants, throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation models.
• Oversee the delivery of development and production releases that meet quality standards.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements, review technical designs, and provide status updates.
• Act as the central point of communication for all project-related activities and ensure stakeholders are aligned.
• Proactively identify risks, manage issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Track budgets, forecasts, and expenditures; ensure compliance with capital and expense accounting practices.
• Assist testing and development teams with documentation, test plans, and quality assurance efforts.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and business value.
• Provide mentorship or support to other project managers as needed.

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager in data, AI, or technology-focused initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, including business case development, technical scoping, testing, and release management.
• Adept at managing budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead meetings, facilitate discussions, and synthesize technical and business requirements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on execution.
• Background in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies is a plus.
• Experience working in a data or AI environment is highly preferred.
