Produce Stocker - Three Rivers Natural Grocery Three Rivers Natural Grocery is now hiring a PRODUCE STOCKER to keep displays, coolers, and shelves fully stocked, and to provide prompt, friendly, courteous customer service to our patrons. Starting Pay $12-$14/hr with opportunities for pay increases during training 25-35 hours/week 12p-8p; Must be available to work Saturdays and an occasional Sunday At Three Rivers Natural Grocery , we have aimed to bring our customers the best products we can find in the natural foods world. From gluten free to vegan and all those in between, our shelves are stocked with natural, non-GMO, and organic items for all eaters. Our store also features a deli and cafe as well as a personal care and wellness department. Our produce department is completely organic bringing you seasonal produce, locally sourced when available. They are responsible for offering suggestions for purchases and ways to prepare products, and for assisting other departments to ensure the highest possible store operations and customer service. Our produce stockers will help customers place and fill special orders, replenish and rotate displays, trim, wash, and bundle produce, check signage and labels for accuracy, stock and merchandise customer supplies, receive deliveries, and participate in inventory count. Produce Stockers will also keep department areas clean, neat, and organized to meet Department of Health requirements. They will dispose of damaged or spoiled goods, remove trash, clean cases, and keep prep and storage areas clean. These employees also monitor and handle breakdowns of coolers to ensure food is stored at proper temperatures, along with other duties. Qualifications for this position include: Interest in learning about produce Interest in gardening Knowledge and interest in Organic Passion about natural foods Team oriented Knowledge and interest in cooking and food preparation Eats vegetables and fruits Ability to lift 50 lbs.
