Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Loan Officer to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, assessing their financial needs, and providing tailored loan solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of financial products, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our clients.

Duties

• Evaluate and analyze clients' financial information to determine eligibility for loans.


• Assist clients in completing loan applications and gather necessary documentation.


• Negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients while ensuring compliance with regulations.


• Process loans efficiently by coordinating with escrow companies, banks, and other relevant parties.


• Utilize accounting software and tools such as Quicken to manage client accounts and track loan progress.


• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, loan products, and market conditions.


• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial services or related fields is preferred.


• Familiarity with loan processing procedures and escrow operations is a plus.


• Proficient in using accounting software and tools such as Quicken.


• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.


• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable loan terms for clients.


• Basic math skills to accurately assess financial data and calculations.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Compensation: $60,000 - $100,000 per year
