The Role As a
Medical Scribe , you'll be the physician's right hand-responsible for accurately documenting patient encounters, medical histories, orders, and test results. Your attention to detail ensures our patients receive seamless, high-quality care.
Responsibilities - Transcribe patient medical reports and data accurately and thoroughly
- Document medical history, physician orders, and lab/test results
- Accompany physicians during patient visits to capture real-time information
- Maintain Hospitality Health ER's guiding principles of care
- Assist physicians by carrying out orders efficiently and accurately
- Demonstrate initiative and self-direction in supporting providers
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, and team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director
• Requirements & Qualifications - Education: 2 years of college in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Training: Successful completion of clinical orientation and proven skills
- Growth: Commitment to ongoing education and training
- Experience: Customer service experience in high-volume, high-stress environments
- Schedule: PRN (as needed) - minimum of two (2) 12-hour shifts per month, including rotating nights and weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
- Skills: Ability to work unsupervised, take initiative, and collaborate effectively
