Role: Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary
Pay: Up to $65,000/yr (depending on experience)

This is a HYBRID ROLE (Mondays & Fridays are WFH days)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide secretarial support to multiple attorneys.
• Assist paralegals with administrative and non-billable tasks as assigned.
• Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents.
• Utilize e-filing systems and demonstrate familiarity with state, local, and federal court processes.
• Manage attorneys’ calendars, including court deadlines and appointments.
• Organize and maintain up-to-date legal documents.
• Conduct research for information requests.
• Prepare materials for depositions, court appearances, meetings, and hearings.
• Ensure court documents are filed accurately and on time.
• Track and record attorney billable hours.
• Arrange travel and process expense reimbursements for attorneys.
• Maintain strict client confidentiality.
• Manage office supplies and perform various administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• In-depth knowledge of legal documents and terminology.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
