Columbia Cabinets is looking for a kitchen designer to join their team in Armonk, NY.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients and measure interior spaces accurately for designing and ordering cabinets
• Create kitchen design with information collected from clients, including hand drawings and renders
• Prepare detailed proposals with descriptions and pricing
• Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations with clients
• Place orders and liaise with factory
• Provide coverage of showroom to meet with potential walk-in clients

Education and Experience

• 2 + years of sales and design experience with a proven track record of driving sales
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design Preferred
• High-end retail experience a plus

Qualifications

• Knowledge of interior design space planning and residential construction
• Ability to read architectural plans and prepare drawings and renders for design presentations
• Proficient at site measuring
• Ability to handle several projects simultaneously
• Working knowledge of 20/20 and Salesforce a strong plus
• Computer literate – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Proactive, able to multitask, organized
• Outgoing and personable; skilled at interacting with clients
• Excellent time management and communication skills
