VORTEX SERVICES, LLC seeking to fill several positions for Jet/ Vac Truck Operators!
The Vortex Companies, LLC deliver cutting edge trenchless technologies and turnkey services to make the worlds water cleaner. Wecost effectively renew water, sewer, and industrial infrastructures. We provide a suite of services and products, including bypass pumping, lining and coating systems, repair materials, sewer robotics, pipe bursting, and facility renewal. Duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for performing and operating equipment in a safe, efficient and productive manner. The operator must be able to work, assist in on the job training as well as take direction from the Field Foreman/Superintendent which may include:
Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material, etc.)
Use of hand tools
Equipment driving and operation, often in out of town locations
Entry into manhole and underground structures
Pump watch and operation
Completion of required paperwork
Skills required:
Preferred 3-5 years of experience operating a Class B Vehicle
Tanker Endorsement
Possess a CDL-B with a clean driver record
Ability to communicate effectively with crew and customers including, both verbally and in writing
Ability to think logically about work at hand and compare site conditions with project designs
OSHA 10 and Confined Space training preferred
Must Pass a DOT Physical
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday and includes shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - Flexibility is required as job duties demand.
