Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language service provider connecting bilingual and multilingual individuals with opportunities as freelance interpreters or translators. Our mission is to bridge communication gaps through excellent and compassionate language services. We seek bilingual and multilingual individuals for a 1099 Independent Contractor role as interpreters. You will contribute to society by supporting language access for all, regardless of English proficiency. As an independent contractor, you can set your own schedule and accept appointments based on availability. Appointments are available Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, but are not guaranteed and depend on demand. Starting pay ranges from $25 to $30 per hour, depending on language, experience, and demand. Requirements Fluency in English and the target language, with understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural nuances Experience in interpreting, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings Professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Basic communication device operation skills Flexibility to work in various settings Must be in the US and authorized to work (no visa sponsorship) High School Diploma or equivalent, or certification in interpreting or related fields Application Process Submit your application detailing your interpreting experience Our recruitment team will contact you for a preliminary interview If eligible, complete a skills assessment and background check Qualified interpreters will proceed to onboarding to join our linguist network About Hanna Hanna is a woman- and minority-owned business dedicated to efficient, comprehensive language services.
