REPORTS TO: Superintendent/Foreman

JOB STATUS: Full Time

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting with the electrical installation of Baggage Handling Systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Complete tasks associated with all aspects of electrical installation according to plans and priorities.
• Follow all safety precautions and quality standards at all times.
• Use machinery and equipment to complete tasks.
• Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Construction Environment
• Repetitive walking, climbing stairs
• Occasional physical hands-on construction
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

WORK SCHEDULE: Varied full-time schedule with some overtime required based on business needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to accomplish safe, quality and on-time completion of assigned tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively across all departments within the company.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines.
• Ability to work in dynamic and changing environments.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Familiar with electrical construction industry
• Basic print reading
• OSHA 10
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
