Hourly Pay Range:
$20.69 - $30.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

- Location: Glenview, IL
- Full Time
- Hours: 7a - 4p M-F Occasional Saturdays & Call requirements (includes nights/weekend hrs)
What you will do: The GI Technician serves as an assistant in the Outpatient GI Lab, working with patients, preparing instruments and equipment and assisting in the procedure room. Additional duties include:
- Assist with patient care under the supervision of the RN
- Maintain the procedure room set up, equipment care and maintenance
- Assist with specimen collection & disinfection of instruments
- Assist physicians during procedures
- Room patients and take vitals
What you will need: - Education:
- Experience as a Patient Care Tech, Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant highly preferred
- Certification:
- CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience:
- Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy & medical terminology required
- Basic computer experience
- Ability to take vitals and perform CPR
