Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description The role involves assisting in painting sheets of metal, cleaning surfaces prior to layering paint, and maintaining technical equipment to ensure they are in working order. You will be responsible for utilizing various painting tools and techniques, ensuring high safety standards are met, and using special safety equipment such as painting goggles. The job also includes measuring paint viscosity and texture, painting small items, doing touch-ups, ensuring proper ventilation after paint application, and polishing metallic surfaces.
Responsibilities - Assist in painting sheets of metal.
- Clean surfaces prior to layering paint.
- Maintain technical equipment to ensure they are in working order.
- Possess a wide array of painting tools, including thin and thick brushes, airbrushes, and rollers.
- Ensure high safety standards are met.
- Utilize different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface.
- Use special safety equipment such as painting goggles.
- Measure the amount of paint to be used and the texture of the paint using viscosity cups and thickness gauges.
- Assist in painting small items and perform touch-ups.
- Ensure proper ventilation after paint application.
- Polish metallic surfaces.
Essential Skills - Industrial painting experience.
- Proficiency in using a spray paint gun.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cartersville, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
