Job Summary:

Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC is seeking a Surgical Services Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy and growing surgical practice.

Qualified Candidates:

• Completion of an accredited physician assistant program with appropriate certification exams
• Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board
• BLS, ACLS certification required
• Gastroenterology APP experience preferred ; and/or General Surgery clinical rotations

Position Highlights:

• Will be responsible for office procedures as they pertain to General Surgery surgical services 
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm
• Must possess excellent clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Clinic responsibilities include seeing new and follow-up patients as well as triaging calls

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with ICU and surgical suites
• Angel Medical Center has been named an Acute Stroke Ready hospital by the Joint Commission and American Heart Association/American Stroke Association
• Outpatient services include wound clinic, a full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, rehab therapy, as well as surgical and endoscopy services
