Field Service Technician
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of window and door systems in various construction settings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction and the ability to read blueprints effectively.
Key Responsibilities - Install and service window and door systems at customer locations
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed products
- Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and support during installations
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of window, door, and glazing systems a plus
- Familiarity with bespoke fabrication processes a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel for weeks at a time
