About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Residential Operations and Business Development. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for a large and complex university housing enterprise, with a focus on housing assignments, operations, summer and conference housing, and business development. This role is pivotal in supporting the company's priorities, including on-campus housing for a significant percentage of undergraduates, growth, and capital improvement efforts. The Executive Director will be responsible for short- and long-term planning to increase housing capacity, overseeing occupancy and revenue strategies, and ensuring compliance with various regulations. Additionally, the role involves leading crisis response, supervising a team, and building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with 7-10 years' of progressively responsible experience in university housing operations. Strong leadership, financial management, and occupancy management skills are essential, as is experience with housing assignment systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, planning, and crisis management skills, and a solid understanding of ADA, Title IX, and Fair Housing regulations. Preferred qualifications include experience in residential master planning, renovation, and construction, as well as familiarity with Jesuit, Catholic institutional values and student formation. The role requires a candidate with a background in assessment, data-driven decision-making, and an understanding of student learning and development theory.
