About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Compliance and Privacy. This pivotal role is responsible for the implementation and management of comprehensive compliance and privacy programs, ensuring the integrity and privacy of patient information, and supporting adherence to relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will lead a team of compliance and privacy professionals, address day-to-day issues, conduct internal investigations, and enhance operational controls. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards, as well as providing education and training to promote a culture of integrity. The Executive Director will also be involved in monitoring regulatory trends, identifying and mitigating risks, and supervising the intake and resolution of compliance and privacy matters. Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree in healthcare, healthcare administration, or law preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years' of experience in compliance and privacy program management within a complex healthcare environment is required, along with a strong working knowledge of California laws and regulations. The role demands a proven track record in operationalizing successful compliance and privacy programs, conducting internal investigations, and managing a team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate, lead, and make sound decisions, as well as a deep understanding of healthcare compliance and privacy laws. The Executive Director will also be expected to demonstrate leadership skills, maintain high standards of professional ethics, and ensure the organization's commitment to providing an exceptional patient and family experience.
