Located in York, PA


Salary: $20.00 to $30.00/hr. DOE

Hours: M-F must be flexible with hours. It depends on the current jobs and projects. Associates must be willing to travel within the area for various job sites.

Dress code : Work pants and shirts. Nothing offensive or inappropriate. Work boots.

Responsibilities :

• Install and repair electrical systems (e.g., residential and commercial wiring, electrical equipment).
• Assemble or install electrical equipment or fixtures.
• Test electrical systems and components (e.g., wiring, lighting, switches).
• Connect electrical systems to power supply.
• Arc and solder wires to a board or component to prepare the wire for connection to other circuits.
• Read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Disassemble electrical parts or equipment to install new components or repairs.
• Disconnect circuits.
• Connect wires by soldering them together.
• Be familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.: Reference NEC for installation guidelines.: Be familiar with OSHA regulations for working safely with electricity.
